Chinese New Year
When the economy imploded a few years back I remembered a book I had of Chinese folk prints. I found the God of Prosperity and carved a block for a print to edition for friends as a New Year’s greeting. The tradition in China is to make these prints and hang them at your doorframe, or lintel for good luck. Some prints are burned to send the smoke up to the Gods asking for Good luck. I use Chinese Joss, on the prints. There are the God of Prosperity, the God and Goddess of Prosperity, The good luck Chicken with peaches and the Year of the Snake.
