International Teaching

Annie has traveled to be a visiting artist/teacher to residencies in Ireland and Denmark, and has a working relationship with the Fynsk Graphic Workshop in Odense, Denmark, where she taught a mixed media printmaking workshop in May 2019, and polyester plate lithography in 2017. She has also taught at Clo’ Ceardlann in County Donegal, Ireland, and the Graphic Workshop in Næstved, Denmark.

Teaching in other countries has special challenges in that one can’t expect exactly the same materials to be available — travelling with rollers and special items has made Annie’s teaching successful. And when Annie is in Denmark, she teaches in Danish.

The Fynsk Graphic Workshop is located on the street where Hans Christian Andersen was born.

This is the street that one can see out the window of the workshop, which is where fairy tale author Hans Christian Andersen was born in 1805. It is the old, very picturesque part of Odense, the 4th largest city in Denmark.
